Changing the resolution (Street Fighter 5)

The problem is that my monitor does not accept the resolution above 720,
this means that games that before the first start set the resolution higher, respectively, then the monitor reports a out of range, and play accordingly not continue to happen.
Usually with all the games that were treated in the following way. Config in the root or in the docks, and then using Notepad, manually change the resolution and all well played.
Similar config and have SF but for some reason when changing the permissions, saving, etc., etc., when in the course of the game all the same problem
and turning back to the configuration, all the settings went back to default 1080p
As it can be cured, help plz.
