Pause (Need for Speed: Rivals)

Is there a way to put the game on pause? ESC does not work as it should. Should you minimize the game for a second, then a COP comes and punishes through a rear-wheel drive. Tired.

Only in the sanctuary the garage to shelter from the attacks of the cops. Pause during a game as such, no, everything in the real half.
