The ever looming inventory (Dead Space 2)

How to make sure that the inventory menu does not loomed before my eyes constantly, I have a constant icon change weapons. It greatly hinders the play and closes the review.

I'm not complaining about the interface, I was happy with it. I complain that the icon change weapons constantly looms before my eyes (the hologram in front of the player for stupid) and it does not retract making the movement and the weapon itself starts to biberatica...
