Creating terrain with Paint.Net (Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions)
In General, to create the necessary terrain texture of the suit(oddly enough :s) and textures-present the dirt terrain.Open the texture(not relief) to Paint.Net'e.
I, for example, took the texture of the Secret War.
Then click Effects > Height Field to Normal Map
See something like this:
Figure Bumpyness default is by 7.54. Suggest to reduce it. I use 5,22.
So, part II. You need to take Paint.Net(do not save yet!! this is important). Open in Photoshop's the texture of the terrain(standard).
Relief from the suit Secret War I have not found, so I took one from the Flipside of the suit.
So, now Paint.Net'e need to highlight your terrain(all(you can Ctrl+A)) and paste it in Photoshop. !!!attention!!! the first time it is not inserted, so have to go back to Paint.Net and re-copy in Photoshop.
Then go to the tab Channels(Close tab Layers). Select Red, all his allocated and press Delete on the keyboard. Do the same thing with channel Blue, but in the end still press Ctrl+i. Voila, the relief desired color and almost ready. But as they say, almost doesn't count. Next go to the RGB channel and press Ctrl+Shift+L. Now the terrain became a little more expressive. Then go to the tab Layers and combine them. And how to work with alpha channel I don't know, so just copy the contents of the green channel.
And that's all. You can save.
