Satellites (Divinity: Original Sin 2)

In the game there is more potential satellites than can take a team. Is it possible in the game to remove someone from the party, and if you change your mind, take back? If so, where satellites will be?

The satellites that You will give off will be on Lady Vengeance (not sure with the mercenaries as well)

Spoleto battle on Lady Vengeance (after the departure from Fort Joy) on the ship, You can finally choose which of the satellites you want to continue the game (they will all be on Board, even if You never took). After that, possibility to change the squad will be, because anyone not in your squad will die.
