PSI-OPS mouse freezes!!! (Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy)

Somebody help with the Psi-Ops! With the appearance of the enemies hangs the mouse. What to do?

One of my friend had the same problem. What it does not know, but cured:
Windows runs on deletion, when you insert a disk. Start the removal and then click cancel, before he had time to delete anything (except the label from the table). Then launched and everything is fine... I don't know here somehow so...
