Subsidence FPS in F. E. A. R. (F.E.A.R.)
Saw a lot like that, but, as I thought, dead.Decided to create a new one. The problem is the following:
When you start the game testing shows results like this:
After 2-5 minutes of play or re-run the performance test result is changed to this:
Someone knows how to deal with it?
OS is 8.1, the hardware meets all the requirements (which is great to see in the first screenshot)

One of the foreign forums there is supposedly a solution to this problem.
It is proposed to disable in device Manager all unused HID (Human Interface Devices) devices.

Need to programmatically disable unoccupied Usb-ports? Of the devices I have connected only the keyboard and mouse.

The game at one point on ultra settings delivers up to 600 FPS (as in first screenshot), and after five minutes even at 640*480 at minimum settings gives 12 FPS. It is clearly not in the shadows and not in the graphics settings at all.

Nothing new to write, but nevertheless it is necessary to disable unused devices from the Devices tab HID.

Old games usually do not recognize mnogoletniki, but such an old game should run fine on 1 core i5. Try to put some old firewood on the video card can help.

Thank you, only half a day of agony and problem solved!
Believe it or not, but the problem was solved by replacing the keyboard.
Don't ask, I don't know how it affects the game, I just changed the keyboard and the game has to run on ultra settings with resolution of 1920*1080. Once again thank you all.
Maybe it will help someone.

On PC technology, and not the circus happen!! Remember Bioshok 1 sound appeared some only if the headphones(!) stick to the microphone(!!!!!!)
In device Manager, only one HID device. If it is disabled, the mouse dies, and without it impossible to play.
