Would you like that would be Epic bought Steam?
I like that thought - why Epic needs a Magan, is not it easier to buy Valve and Steam development activities? After all, they are all for it:-Professionalnaya team, finished in hand-selected game
-Promotion strategy store and games
-Money, lots of money
Players are only a plus:
-No Epic Store ekslyuzivov
-Quality games in the store
-The opportunity to earn if you obzorschik, streamer or blogger
-A good game will get the funding from to develop Steam if any problems
Of course Valve one just will not sell, but Epic can dogovarivatsya. Maybe they should just try? It will be a good change for Steam users.
Maybe then Valve will start making games, and not one of zaskar now they come out with.
With all the crap with Steam Machine, Steam OS, Steam Link, Steam Controller, Artifact... And a small truck. Will you be going when they will help to correct policy.

An alternative and competition, this is what you need in most cases for development.
The Association may in the case of mutual benefit of the parties. Campaign work for yourself producing a product. From this it follows that the benefit cannot be for consumers. The consumer either buys or not, and at a loss for the benefit of consumers is not an option to work. Not for the purpose there. Here on this and on different sides of the barricades.
Yeah, right now, they fled. This is why the hell Valve is going to give his only way of earning. due to which still lives?
take this opportunity sell Gar.. account in steam
and I think that all rushed suddenly to sell))

Epic income is not more than the Valve, the steam store carries a steady income, and Epic games just due to the success of Fortnite which will soon not be popular. So they began to develop their store. Epic games would be better bought the rights from Gabe half life and made a worthy sequel.

This is logical. If the head is rich, and the company rich.
In place of Portrait will come the other games, I think they are already in development.

Wrong in your logic. Valve is a big company so not all money is only one Gabe gets. From Epic due to the success of Fortnite big part was the head.

It is unlikely that new games will come close to the success of Fortnite. With genre betrayal already gathered the cream, Epic game successfully did it.
I would like epic went to all the appropriate developers, so I don't have to mess with garbage INDIE stuff on steam. But buying epic steam doesn't need. That makes no sense. Let alone then steam finally become a dumping ground for indie projects, and epic may be associated with the quality - no indie stuff was not there. Under indie stuff, I mean game designers - these konstruktorno similar projects with the same models and textures stim Packed. Who ever heard about such tools as GameGuru or FPScreator? This is the way popular designers garbage indie shooters and horror - they are just the incentive to bulk... Anyone for 3 hours can get a dozen poor levels of standard assets and put this misery on sale in steam. Hence, the figure obtained in 9 thousand game releases the incentive last year, mainly junk. Therefore it begs the logical question: why would epic need a steam? What for to buy the landfill indie rubbish? This is even scary to think.

Valve is a very small company, I think at once less than Epic
Checked today - Epic about 130 -150 employees, Valve has about 400.

I wonder do you even realize why STEAM a bunch of INDIE projects? I think not.

You have listed only some of what you know isn't it? And such engines as Unity, Unreal Engine, GameMaker, and love2d is still a lot which you obviously don't know but try to be clever and in-house engines.. You list the list of games ( in steam ) are made on engines on which you wrote. Because you so boldly stated about their popularity in the Indy area..

Good luck to you.
