Manipulators and schemers (Factorio)

How to get the manipulators to put items from one chest to another up to a predetermined limit, as if the drones were carrying resources in a trunk request?

Open the chest, click the red x at the end of the list and highlight the cells that will not be filled. You can limit the number of filled cells, not the number of items in them.

If the manipulator has to deal with only one type of objects, you can connect the trunk, where the rest of the objects with the manipulator signal wire. The manipulator is included in the supply object
