Well, question ...I am not a supporter of editing files, etc. So just do what you need in the game,and if the night's stopping ,you just squander time.not always but sometimes when I stop the cloaca and do not understand how to get out.
It's just my style.Don't judge.

Up / down time is not very convenient and not realistic. I would like it to slow down or something.
