The website of Video Games Chronicle interviewed Plourde, during which he revealed that a sequel to Child of Light now, most likely, no one does: "I don't know if now Child of Light 2 in production. Ubisoft is a big [company], but I'm not working on a sequel. I don't think the game is in development..."
