In General, mate I noticed the same crap recently too, don't scold 970 is not her problem. Now I also did some digging ,and thought it gfexpirience ,maybe I haven't used it ever,and recently set(but after removal still). The problem was solved (well, almost) disable (Enable desktop composition) - this is in settings - system - properties - performance.(if Windows 7) is the only way,I even now digging.
