Issues (Get Even)

First question:why is Cole black himself wanted to destroy the firm Ramsey and kidnap grace? Why then he changed his mind and went to rescue grace?
Second question:throughout the game,playing for the Cole bleck,I saw a rabbit sitting near the door with the code,but the code I FOUND! This continued for 4 times.Does anyone know the codes exist from these doors or not?
