It's because of the trainer of the course... I did too! Trainer from Baracuda, enabled to Always win Quint and all is lost... or Rather, a silver sword is where you need to be conventional(steel)... So, if I use a trainer, be careful!
Found it in a strange way: I have always enabled this feature, at least when we got to quest games Quint and found that a silver sword is not where it should be. Then downloaded the console, and stopped to turn on this feature, won through the code... too Lazy to play fair Quint!
