The duration of the game (Total War: Shogun 2)

In total, the game provides for 220 strokes up to 1600 years (55 years and 4 seasons every year). Anyone know if during this time do not have time to capture the required number of provinces, the game ends or is it possible to continue playing after 1600?

but still quite interesting to try to meet the deadline.although I'm not like when a lot of regions under control,prefer a small but fully razvitoe of state(home).if all to plan,to ponder,and 220 moves will be more than a dozen hours(if the battle to play)
