Anniversary Edition kicks in multiplayer (SpellForce 2: Shadow Wars)

Recently had a discount on the game and bought. Tried to play with a friend in a Free game. Regardless of what make - up game simulates a hang and throws the error. Almost different every time. Was with the Runtime Library.
The Steam community is recommended to install DirectX 9, put the launch options -d3d9, and also as administrator and compatibility with XP (SP2). Say should help, but to no avail.

It's not the network or program the case. Beats solo even if you create a game in free mode. It seems that some incompatibility with x64 system, although many with this bit works.
