No mini-map (Far Cry: Primal)

Installed the game, started playing on medium difficulty mode (Survival - off) but the mini-map in the lower left corner there, and the letter E does not appear , when you can hit / to collect / to frisk something or someone, yet are not enemies (the ability is taken) don't know what to do... please Help !
