The problem with the cutscenes in the games
I have a very big problem, no cutscenes in games on the PC, that is generally not present, the game will not play. For example the game Call of Cthulhu 2018 at the very first Chapter scripted splash screen after opening the door. Screen saver is not present, and nothing happens. in the game files all screen savers are, as videos, play them finds something. In other games, the problem is the same. Played in The Sinking City, was full, and not a single cutscene is not seen. Help please, can't seem to solve this problem, all head broke already.13 Comments

Before installing codecs, create a recovery point from the codecs I have started having problems.
Reinstall Windows.

Although if you have Windows standard (i.e. there is none which is not cut) then you have all the videos in the games and so must play.

Windows updated codecs did not help. I personally did not see this and are shocked

Do a clean reinstallation of Windows, just normal, not the Assembly of the student, suggest Windows 10 LTSC 2019.
