What intel core 2 quad to choose?

What intel core 2 quad to choose? Q6600 Q6700 or Q9300? And to take better with the standard cooler or to buy separately(I have heard that 4-nuclear very much heated, and what is the difference between these processors except of course the frequency)

The Q6600/6700 based on the old 65nm process technology, have bus 266 MHz, cache L2 2х4Мб, differ only by multipliers and frequency - 2.4 GHz with the Q6600 (266х9) and the 2.66 GHz Q6700 (266х10). Well, price of course, although both have long been in the middle price range.
Q9300, in turn, is based on a progressive 45nm CPU-process technology, has all its architectural advantages, but compared to the Q6600/6700 cut cache 2х3Мб instead of 2x4, which in most cases leads to a backlog of these processors on the same frequencies. But at face value it is faster than the Q6600 + low (and very significant) power consumption and heat generation relative to 65nm processors. The main drawback in a different frequency from 2.5 GHz Q9300 was obtained by the combination of a 333 MHz bus and multiplier 7.5 H. If we consider that the limit of the acceleration of the bus at 45nm CPU percent is not always higher than that in the old Q6600/6700, lower multiplier might be a hindrance to overclocking.
The regular cooler will cope with any CPU without overclocking.

q9450

I agree. in OLDI it is 10180 is no cooler. but no scraps

Yes. If you have money then Q9450 and a couple of years you can forget about the upgrade CPU .

I would take the Q6600 and dispersed a little. I think it is the cheapest should be.

I watched the tests with Q6600 vs Q9300. Here is the link http://lly316.blogspot.com/2008/02/core-2-quad-q9300-vs-q6600-benchmark.html
Have 9300 technology is better than the 6600, cache gutted though, as I said. A regular cooler is always a good choice. But it still depends on the cooling in your case, if there are rules, and then the temperature on regular norms. Yourself preparing to buy a computer and think about the 4 nuclear, stopped at the q9300. And above models have already hit the money you send to the computer

>>and a couple of years you can forget about an upgrade of CPU .>>
bent you slightly =))))))

M
MeitDeist 30.05.20

why bent?) all he says is true... what will happen after that? Nehalem sorts? and they need? did )

9450 45 nm?

M
M Schumacher 30.05.20

LOL/ AND what else.. It garantirovanno will last for 2years at least for any task - particularly given the dispersal of a Percent.. this is not the video of the norms of percent will last for a long time.

S
Sergey067 30.05.20

M Schumacher, well then, Yes, you're right...even without overclocking will be enough for all...

seemed like and the q6600 is 65 nm,=))))

9450 unreasonably expensive...I would take a Quad 6600+cooler normal (Thermaltake the big Typhoon will fit, or something like it) and overclocking...for Quad 6700 to overpay makes no sense...9300 SNiP

M
MeitDeist 30.05.20

9450 the most relevant...
and 6600 is 65nm

O
Otec Viktorius 30.05.20

9450 now almost 2 times more expensive.

S
Sergey067 30.05.20

Intel the price for it (9450) will soon slow down - the autumn should...Probably about$ 300 it will cost

M
MeitDeist 30.05.20

now is 9600

Gerold what percent?

S
Sergey067 30.05.20

well, certainly to bend powerful was normal and the toys will be a lie too =). 4ядерник otherwise he would not take.

>>now is 9600>>
well, it's 400$. Early E8400 cost$ 300 and now 200$. so that is about$ 100 cheaper q9450 .

I wonder when it will drop? Bought 6600 it works! And what temperature at you on the percent and in the normal operating mode. I have the usual 37 and nagruzhena 60 is normal temperature how think?

F
Feilos 30.05.20

it is quite normal. I have 45 in idle, under load, 71-72. it would be necessary to change the cooler :)
