Need help.

Decided to update my bucket (Pentium Dual-Core E5500 2,8 GHz, motherboard ASUS P5G41T-M LX2 / GB), adding a bit of RAM. Was originally fitted with 2 strips of Kingston DDR3-1333 PC3-10600 2 GB. Please advise what to buy: Kingston DDR3-1600 4096MB PC3-12800 or Kingston DDR3-1333 4096MB PC3-10600? Of course, I plan to install 2 laths on 4 GB.

Given the motherboard, I would take Kingston DDR3-1333 4096MB PC3-10600, plus would be thinking about changing the processor to a Quad core.

I'm afraid you may experience compatibility issues with modern straps and such an old motherboard. All of the modern trims are available with sets of chips for 512 and 1024 MB on each chip, and Your motherboard is unlikely to be able to work with chips with more than 256 MB still this is the first platform ispolzuya DDR3. Look for straps with sixteen chips, eight on each side of the PCB, 16х256= 4096 MB. Of course, I could be wrong and the controller on your motherboard will be able to work with modern chips on 512 MB. You should be better to examine before buying. I just gave direction and warned against a possible bad purchase.

Find and buy such straps will be more difficult than just to go to the store. But in full it is possible.
