A quick road to diamond city (Fallout 4)

I remember there was some magazine that allows you to quickly navigate in diamond city....and maybe it wasn't him,of this magazine,I don't know. The question is,if there is a log,where is it located ?

The magazine only adds to the city marker, if it's not on the map.
