Once I tried on a pentium g6950 2,8 + gtx550 3gb at even lower resolution to play. In the single player campaign everything was fine at medium-high settings, but in the cartoon fps were near the bottom even at the minimum. It was impossible to play. I don't think in your case it will be better.
