Cave mushrooms/fruits (Stardew Valley)

Chose fruit bats, I regret it already... click there - no fruit. The first day left 2 fruit, never leave(maybe a bug). Fly bastards are looking at me from the darkness, and for housing do not want to pay (
And what about with mushrooms? Regularly grow?

In fact, the best choice for most players - cave of mushrooms. Fruits are easier to produce.
