Server Battlefield 1 in the CIS (Battlefield 1)

Everyone probably knows that at the start of the game the DICE were not allowed to rent a server. At the moment the opportunity was there, but server location in the CIS. There is a question: if I'm living in Moscow, I rent a server, then my server will still geographically be probably in Europe (probably in Holland), because as I understand it, all servers are owned by EA and for example in Russia, as I understand it the server is physically just not there?
