When in Iceland, the majority of the population, despite the approval of the government, voted against the Association with the EU is a democracy. When within a few years a bunch of pr-managers, journalists and the paid media is hyping and popularitybut the right candidate and then vote for him most - is clowning and informed the formation of the necessary point of view from the public. Applies not only to US, but in any country with elected politicians and not only. Spend now a referendum in Russia on the beginning of nuclear bombing, such as Poland and the majority vote for. Because the population itself decided? No, because for many years TV hews trite song there are fascists and Russophobes want to attack rossiyushku, cut down all the birch trees and cut down all the horizontal bars. This is the essence of democracy.

The essence of democracy is that the population treated propaganda, suggesting to them what is beneficial to the oligarchs. The essence of democracy in the other.
Democracy is not granted from above. Democracy is not synonymous with universal suffrage. It is impossible, by the decree of the ruler to introduce democracy in the country.

Unlike the Russians, the Americans perceive themselves as an independent nation, because to constantly look for external invincible enemies that are literally to blame for all the troubles, they do not need. And never met an American who would blame in Russia. Most of them don't even feel any negativity towards Russians, and all the events in the international arena is perceived as a game big politicians that have little relation to ordinary citizens. That is why Americans can hate their President, but to respect the Constitution and not to take political course, but to be a true patriot, and sincerely love their homeland. And anyone who would say something like America is a trump or no Obama was not the United States, would look, on the patient. Compare this with Russian society, where any criticism of the authorities is perceived as a fierce Russophobia, fascism and betrayal of the nation as a whole.

I understand this is going to ensure that we imitate the Americans, there are two different mentalities, two different worlds, we can say nothing to change. To the Americans themselves in my attitude neutral (nakakat on them to somehow). For me it US heartless capitalist power, usurped the entire world economy and political system does not respect the interests of other countries, in particular where do you want to dance on her tune. Here I do not want dermokratiyu for us, that is what for she to me?

All true, but clarify a few points. First, most Americans live quite well. There is poverty, there is unemployment, there are terrorist attacks and other uncertainties, but in the meantime, America is the land of opportunity, a standard of living much higher than in many other countries, and it remains one of the most popular destinations for expatriates - even those who hated her. The benefit of its people is certainly higher than the benefit of anyone else and the US is good provide, albeit infringing on other States.
Second, it is similar to Russia's and the USSR acted. And even tougher - because, unlike the Union, which were forced to cooperate with Soviet bloc countries (remember Hungary and Czechoslovakia), the US did not send troops to Finland or Sweden who do not wish to join NATO. The only difference is in the forces and possibilities. Where America puts pressure on the whole world its economic and political power, Russia is trying to intimidate nuclear weapons and"little green men poor Romania and Latvia. Where America acts with diplomacy and all sorts of bonuses, Russia is at a primitive bribery, and spreading its influence solely on the countries of Central Asia, the Caucasus and the Black continent. That's the difference - the difference between a pimp in fur and boots made of crocodile leather and a drunk bully who tries to rape the schoolgirl behind the bike sheds.

I knowingly wrote infringe in quotes. But from the point of view of a typical patriot, who sees the world through the prism of the camp mentality, all of these economic unions and diplomatic agreements that other, as infringement of the participating States States. Yes, and it is foolish to deny that after all America is putting considerable pressure on the policies of those same countries in Europe - but as pointed out above, doing it diplomatically, and not threatening nuclear bombing and to stop supply of resources.

Read kamenty, yeah ) what a Horror! Trump won, great... for America and the world.
US Democrats wiped and now trying to organize rallies and protests. No good for a stable, peaceful and prosperous life within the U.S. these protests will not end. You can't just sway everything just because half of the population chose another candidate. At worst you can separate California (calexit). And Texas, but the Texas men for trump, so that's unlikely ))

Better corrupt, corrupt (all politicians and presidents at least a little but not without sin) but a pragmatic, predictable and restrained Hilary than public clown trump (like our Zhirinovsky) which is not predictable in the dispensation, do not hold back in his statements (and politics is VERY important, especially for the President) and Moody.
Some nonsense. He speaks directly and accurately, does not slander unlike Clinton. And will keep his promises, has already begun. Started.. and the millions of Americans dissatisfied. And whose fault is that? They have the media, you can legally bribe, bribe, and they will vilify anyone with absolutely no consequences. Freedom? She is the most! Freedom of conscience and of honor in the media. Even the President can't do anything about it. I think there is a difference between free media and media sales...

Support is not a democracy, and handouts and nothing more. If it is about the people, all the people as a whole, not of the elite, then democracy can not be without a competent and effective system of referendums. There is no such thing anywhere, only sometimes somewhere to hold a referendum, allowing the people to decide a question. Key word - allowing... Is not a democracy but a mockery.
