My mother on nforce2, nv5900xt, two plucky DDR 400 512 Apacer production(ie the sum of 1024) always worked without any problems in dual channel mode, and here the constant villany in WinXP+SP1. The game is patched 1.2, Russified, game original on 3CD(Vampire_The_Masquerade-Bloodlines-VNGCLONE).
I decided to experiment with memory. Ran some tests to check memory for errors;
no error was found. Then I pulled one strap of memory ie 512MB left. Run the game and everything flooded, I lost long enough to know that the game crashes. Then again vtyknuli 512MB back(in dual-channel mode) again, the game started to fly.
