At the time cards was not, since no games use all this memory. In recent games, which is dependent on the amount of video memory, the performance difference is around 10-15%.
So it is obvious that new generations of video cards is necessary to take that that with plenty of video memory.
To take ONLY with 6Gb on Board. I have the 1070, afterburner showed devouring in/memory of up to 6.5-7 GB. On the ultra without smoothing is about 60 fps plus/minus.
BUT!!!!!!! I have an old monitor with a resolution of 1600x1200. As will be 1920 not know. Therefore it is better to strain and still take 1060 with 6Gb, then thanks people say that they insisted )))
