Personally, I'm not surprised, played later. But in my opinion this is probably the best platformer I've played!

I played this game on Sega, and as soon as the computer bought, took Reiman 2 eng. license, but the computer is not pulled(Pentium166), and only 4 years later when I bought a new computer took it, and after 5 years the new comp went Reiman 3. Of all the platformers I think a series of the best Rayman(Rayman 1,2,3).

I agree with [[PROTOTYPE]]. I will only add that for me the second part is one of the best games in General.
