Just installed, played about half an hour. The idea Savonarola, but the game experience spoiled,no guidelines,no map.Pure simulation aunts in the forest.By the way, I got the first one-eyed Troll. So he finds me constantly,as he did not hide.In short, you have plenty of play in it to understand
Among the horror genre in the gaming industry, and in film, a rare horror movies are the guests in a folk setting. Through the Woods - a game from Kickstarter'a from an independent Studio Antagonist decided to fill this gap.
So, we have horror in a thick setting of Norwegian folklore. In the story, the mother and son come to vacation in his country house near the Western coast of Norway. Waking up one morning, the mother discovers son on the spot and sent looking for him. But she obviously did not expect to face what lay ahead of her.
The gameplay is standard for the genre, created by independent developers. The main character is helpless and to survive she needs to be careful and be able to quickly take his feet. However, certain funds scare of some local inhabitants still there.
In General, the game is atmospheric and, despite the straightforward design, it contains some small appendices locations, the content of which contribute to the immersion in the game world. Sometimes creepy, sometimes intense, sometimes both.
But in Through the Woods is bad is the animation in the cut-scenes and voice acting. Also on the downside, I can take no more daring game decisions and, in fact, the overall linearity. Because of all this, after beating the game, remains controversial finish.
Summary: horror-trip economy class in the world of Norwegian folklore.
