If the monitor is 21:9 for gaming?

The resolution of the monitor 2560х1080, 29 inches. Correctly will display 1920x1080, 2K if the game is not supported? Monitor LG 29UM58-P

Most games will work fine. Some stretched from 16:9. For example folic 4 is not friendly with 21:9.
