Mysterious green signs scattered throughout the game (Risen 3: Titan Lords)

I came across one very interesting sign of green,it reminded me of car steering wheel...(I've ever seen this previously but I thought it lags the game) but now find them in different places of the game.Sorry no screenshots(I'm a noob and my peint't see the screen)))so if someone found them same as me please give the answer why they are needed)
And I would like to know what will happen if I completely lose the soul?

If you lose your soul you will become the Guardian of Darkness, you have managed to increase performance and sharp two-handed sword of course and you will begin to judge furiously. You have to kill people to feed off the energy of darkness or you will die, in General, there will be a new quest to kill all people on each island, quite fun!
