RX 480 NITRO+

I bought a NITRO RX 480+ 4Gb and 8-pin power connector,and my PSU has only two 6-pin connectors,but I inserted one into the slot and the card would work,but since I'm not an expert I was gnawing doubt,and whether I did not if I ruin this card?

Will not kill. Just what is the problem to purchase a 6 pin to 8 pin ?

Thanks for the help,but it was much easier.I called the store asked if they have an adapter and I was told that my PSU has 8pin,is it one wire 2х6ріп and one 2pin which is inserted into the loose cells,and when you first install the video card I tried to insert but I failed.Now tried more insistent on everything works out:)
