What kind of game you can play online in 2 it? No license

Want to play with a friend in any game on the network (not local) but with the condition that was free or pirates could work. Thank you.

Well... Heroes 3 you had advised... one of the best strategies. There is another fix for Age Of Empires 2:HD Edition for online game.
