Preprohormone episodes (spoilers!) (Detroit: Become Human)

Passed the game once on the highest difficulty.
Spoilers first job for Connor, I have sacrificed; then the interrogation of the OS he shot Connor and himself. Decided to re-take those 2 episodes, so that Connor both still alive, but then at the meeting with Hank at the police station, he says I yesterday took a bullet. Although preprohormone chose to maintain the progress.
It's some kind of bug or I not so understood? Is it possible to re-separate episode, then changed the story or need to start from the beginning?
