Most likely it is due to the influx of players is there. Yesterday evening ( at the ninth hour MSK) went into the game without any problems. Just popped up a warning about the update. Oh, and lag from time to time during the game - not the servers cope with the load:-)

Servers are often turned off today, just turned off for maintenance work.

Generally on the official forum usually post a message about the expected therabath on servers.
