The video card memory.

Hello. The testing took a friend Gygabite Geforce GTX 1070 8 Gb. Put it on your computer: Windows 10 64 - bit Prof, Intel i7 2600k @ 3,4 GHz CPU , AsRock P67 Pro,16GB RAM, 2x1TB Seagate. And my computer sees only 4 Gb. Before that was MSI Geforce GTX 780 ti 3 Gb. What could be the problem?

Wanted to get a similar map and now I don't know. With 1070-Oh everything goes with a Bang - Dishonored 2, Battlefield 1, Saint Row 3 and many other games. With the 780-th bit inhibited. Thank you all for the answers.
