Can there be a race with a friend in coop? (Watch_Dogs 2)

Is it possible? When I play I see these green icons signifying the race, and when we play with each other, then these icons of racing just gone, whether it is possible to pass the track in the cooperative? And if you can how? Maybe I misunderstood something
