You can change the screen resolution to 1280x720, however the graphics will be terrible! for without bands)))

I have the exact same monitor. It's in the game, not in the monitor.
IMHO the game has a selection ratio of 1:1.33 or 1:1.77 hence exposes to no stripes. All the latest are written by 1:1.77 default. The type of movie.
Again for the gifted - if the BANDS at the TOP AND BOTTOM, THEN YOU MONITOR is 16:10. So smoke bamboo or buy a new monitor, preferably Full HD.
