The state of the characters after the free weekend. (The Elder Scrolls Online)

About this I should worry more then when the weekend passed, but to write about it I have only got now.

Will kept the characters created at the time of the campaign and to later purchase the game?

Characters should be preserved. You've been playing on a private server, and along with all. They technically will not be able to selectively vypnuti a bunch of people, too much of a hassle.
