It is time to change the motherboard...
and when to update the BIOS
While inserted the old CPU...
and how?
Skachivaem from the site Editgroup archive firmware... a firmware itself and the flasher... mine... Zapuskaetsa Windows even in safe mode, zapuskaet flasher, cherry-picking the firmware file because of Ok and pray that the b-light is not slashed before the end of the process...
If the flasher does not use - http://www.rom.by/articles/flashBIOSart/index.htm or http://forums.hardlabs.net/index.php?showtopic=936
People still have a question=)) after updating the BIOS which is good(good in the sense for my motherboard) dual-core processors would fit me ;)
after updating the BIOS which is good(good in the sense for my motherboard) dual-core processors for me
The ones that overclock is not necessary. The list of supported you can look on the ECS website.
Damn I looked at the website, updating BIOS is not for my brain)))
And without updating BIOS this processor will go to my mother's:
Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 2.66 GHz 1066MHz 3Mb LGA775 OEM
It is generally 45 nm processors does not hold. Updating the BIOS is no big deal.
where just do you can look of the supported processors on this motherboard after updating? if there is post a link
People...
I understand the iron forum and all that... But! Are on their own not to go to the ECS website and see the specifications of your Board?

compatible motherboard ECS P965T-A (3 PCI, 2 PCI-E x1, 2 PCI-E x16, 4 DDR2 DIMM, Audio, Gigabit LAN) with the video card asus gtx650-e-2gd5 ???
The motherboard that I was...not to lie...10 years and though that. But unfortunately more cons than pros.
The almost complete absence of dual-channel mode - It seems to have but have yet to find memory that will work in this mode.
There is support for Quad and Extreme...but try to find them at all...
And in fact the mother herself not to OC...that is a huge minus, as the old stones without overclocking at all lives there)
