Dropped due to timeout (Diablo 2)
Good time of day. There is a problem with the kicking mules. The bottom line: any mule LVL 1 in the second window drops through 15-30 seconds after entering the game. I want to draw attention to the fact that the game is for 2 ppl in 2 Windows on the normal, i.e. we are not talking about the 8th mule for the Hella and the engine as a whole. Completely lost the ability to just throw things with mules (well, no, spike way, time 15 seconds fast to throw/pick up, but it's full of trash). Started recently, maybe a week or two nesad. Before that, the last 10 years was all perfect.
Once the points:
1. The client is not patched. Exactly. Pure like a child, just Sispony in this sinful world.
2. Client official patch too. If necessary, you can put checksums of all files in the D2 folder.
3. The launch of two Windows without using third-party software - each window runs in the context of a single Windows user, and quick switching via hotkey Win+L.
4. Connect a normal ping in the area of 50-100.
5. Of course, no cheats, mapako.
If the game is making another high level char, then everything is fine and no one throws.
Nothing else has changed. Just at some point the problem occurred. Tried reinstalling client - did not help.
Actually the question: the administration tweak the server settings (or cheat the system to false positive) as a protection against mules as such? Or is it all the same troubles with client-side, ie, my?
To run Windows you need to use the officially sanctioned options. You have not used, and hence the most likely problem.
g_n,
> To run Windows you need to use the officially sanctioned options
The official option is the use or patched client admins (in fact, personal development) or the use of the loader, i.e. third-party software. I never used any software to run the two Windows. At all. All standard tools. This is the same as to run two Windows on two separate PCs, but with completely identical hardware and the OS up to build. There is no cleaner method than this to run the client on one PC, except that the use of virtual machines. In fact, this is the only method used on the office server for the throwing things through mules without the use of any third-party software.
Again, to hide from each other the game window is not necessary to use the official method. Yes, this necessitates the use of additional software, but it is necessary. The net option is not to load more than one window, as this server is not recommended.
g_n,
D2m is not allowed opensorce, and you can find the original version from the author at all, just a bunch of nonsense perezalivat. Not opensorce, and even khaki is the way to inflicting self-harm. Modified the client crashes often (this has been written more than once) in inappropriate places (although I don't think that departures are appropriate places).
Like all difficult.
Is there a work permitted, opencarry loader? Which can be normally safe to put and continue to play?
Oxycanta
Well the decision has been provided. All opensores = path to modification of the client ( chitak ). I think the departures are not casual. Use any of the proposed solutions and no problems.
MOWHOCTu,
> All that opensores = path to modification of the client ( chitak ).
The game is not opensores. I'm talking only about opensource third-party software because it was developed by enthusiasts and unknown evil or good. So it's not just D2, but only. Writing such software is already modified by the customer, as required explore the innards of the game. Trust code Blizzard is one thing, but third-party code of unknown person is quite another :)
> Well, the solution is already provided.
If indeed the problem, as ever, these issues do not arise under these conditions. Although this is not an indicator, because everything is changing.
I'll try with d2m and again with the alternative client. Let's see if everything is OK.
g_n,
Thank you for your time.
> Try the d2m and again with the alternative client. Let's see if everything is OK.
d2m is not set, but the viola. the client drove and everything seems like is working well. Missions that were once, not anymore. CPU resources are not consumed exponentially. Run-multiwindow game - mules not drops. If you evaluate one game day, then normal flight.
