Is it possible to apply a Uplay discount to a game that already has a discount

Now in Uplay there are discounts, but also for 100 Uplay Coin you can get another 20% discount and can you apply it to buy a game on which there is already a discount? That's what I wanted to buy. It is now at a discount and costs 1098p instead of 3329 and if I buy this 20% discount I will be able to apply it for this purchase?
