Solving performance issues (Horizon: Zero Dawn)
In general, if anyone has friezes (hard), and lags. Try to increase the swap file by at least 30GB. It helped me, maybe someone would help, too.Brock Samson wrote:

... I've got 32GB, I always put so much when I reinstall the axis.
Can a separate nvme take a gig for 120 and swell the whole volume of pumping? We won't go far with such advice... 4096 put who the flights wind.
Bet by choice system and do not steam ...
The system itself will understand how much it needs ...
on the night at the original settings were drawdowns, looked through the performance test and ms afluorner load on the system and noticed that the percent does not work adequately, during the drawdown throws the frequency up to 1200 mgz (trolling no) eventually ironed the frequency at 3300 and on the miracle, the drawdown is almost no, the pf below 30 does not fall on the fulcile If you make a resolution of 900r fps in around 50

If the operatives are 32gig and above, I will reveal the secret - the swap file is not required, the word is not operational at all, even if it is at your fastest distance for even the tightest memory has a pspa higher than the fastest sd
The game in the swap file throws off what does not fit in the memory, and because of the curves of the hands of the memory leak is so wild that I have a score of 16gb of ram and a swap file for 32gb in 2 hours of play then crashes out with a crit ...
Man people you would listen to yourself from the outside, I have I7, and I have I9/// 30 GB of opera, and I have another 30 GB of swap file, I have 1080 and I have 2080 BUT lags lag lalala - - As it is said more than once, the game is not stupidly unsealed. Do not forget that the iron Sonia (IT 4!) is completely and next crammed with iron AMD precisely because of this amDshnikov (in more %) there are no problems - do not forget about AMD buns, which nihren do not work on the maps of NWIDIA and eat an extra 20 FPS (who did not understand, I'm about non-to PHYSICS vegetation, hair and all that was in Lara Croft). Let's say openly - the game of stars from the sky is not enough, in the technical plan, maybe I'm already burned, but nothing Uber WOW I did not see, even on the contrary - terrible grass, water, trees, clouds, details displayed on furs and small details of armor drawing objects - all in soap or worse, even that grass appears through 100 meters.. If YOU have comps that pull almost on ULTRAH Witch, Crisis, Metro, Lord of the Rings, DDR, 2nd and 3rd Resident, then it is worth thinking that it is definitely not in the iron??? It just seems to me that the engine (Decima) in general to the PC is not designed, won as an example of DS in people even with top iron what creates (that textures disappear, then something else, and there is a pancake REALLY GOOD card and nothing that would slow down or do a memory leak - and laugh and say that all ok who?? again, those people who have an ASSEMBLY on AMD, I have not seen a single person who said that I have an assembly Intel Nvidia and I have all OK with these games ). This by the way led to the idea why so far have not been given the go-ahead to live up to dawn (well or from Kilson why did not start) on the PC because they are still on the Decima engine and we were given The Man of Medan on the new engine, and did not dare to port Dawn (not even sure that it will come out). Perhaps after a couple of three patches the problem can be corrected, but while playing this game, only to spoil your nerves for something to do wrong it begins to capricious ...

Dude, I've got an intel and I'm fine with games. I put the H'D on the SSD and I don't know the problems. Stable 70 fps on the ultras in zHD.
And I have an intel q nvidia stands on the SSD all the norms - without departures and brakes on the maximum
2070s 16oz and 11st 1st 1,9700
80fps but frequent sharp drawdowns up to 60-50, wildly infuriating, think tomorrow on the SSD reinstall....
The swap file should always be twice as much as the operative. if 128GB of operative then file 256gb as such.

strangely, in the neighboring topic you wrote that you have at least 2 problems, with anisotropic filtration and smoothing, you need to decide q)
There's a way to solve the problem. Let's start with Anisotropic filtration. In the nvidia panel, anisotropic filtering, put on 16, there selected from the application, here put on 16, and the picture to improve. On account of performance, on the label put a tick from the admin, and tick scaling too. I've still updated the windows version of 2004. Then in the Wind settings, in the control panel, we disable all notifications on the apps, where you dig will see, just disable the resolution for the applications, (each separately) so that they do not work in the background. After, in the electric power mode put max performance. After all these attacks, everything became comfortable. The game before this terrible lag, Viduha 1060, but now on the high goes 35 40 phps. But drawdowns are sometimes in the replacement below 30, but it has become noticeably better. There were 23 25 fps, with drawdowns to 15. If there are patches, even better will go.

Tell tales, 70 fps he's stable at 2k since 2070. I have 2070s and fps in 2k to 60 falls often. in the settlement of a large first generally below 60 was

On it Kojima Ivanovic death stranding released there such trouble is not ! The game is perfectly sharpened under the Nvidia cards, in principle there and amd stable phps give out there clearly for 70 frames . Not to mention the nv q dlss 4k.
i5 9500 q rtx 2070 even problems do not see except drop in kneading or rain, they seem not to interfere with the game but still feel responsive, well at least the game from 3 faces drop to 45 let's say it at max 1440p and z nv shapen also devours 3-4 frames but the picture is sharp as a blow of no soap!

Tress Fx it works normally on nv cards is not a matter of it, it's just a curve port here there is nothing more to say q) Is cured by buying a more expensive card of another way to play on ultra above 1440p yet.

These are the problems associated with appearance, here is the productivity tread.
Maybe someone will help, oddly enough, but try to turn the clock synchronization, do not know what is such a "miracle", but when I turned on the turntable.
P.S. Comp:
