Artem suffocates in the chapter of THEO (Metro Exodus)

Artem suffocates in the chapter of the LETO at the very beginning when talking to Anna and dies when their name is at the table....
tried restarts. re-run the last quest and the whole chapter. rocked other saves (the head of the LETO) and could not fix. Please help.
