Does your partner sometimes light up during treatment? (Wasteland 3)

I looked through all the perks, I didn't find anything like that. When I yusya suture kit, honey set lights up patient, first burned dude in the garage whose guts outwards, but realized that you can extinguish all. Then he set fire to Major Tom, then his partner. What the hell is going on?
