Machine settings (DiRT 4)

Is there anyone who understands all these settings? Not under the steering wheel. Under the gamepad. Under the steering wheel, I'm sure the settings need quite different. Can there be an article where there are settings for each machine? I saw only in the article on 3 cars, but it is not enough.
