Save doesn't work - no settings, no games (Risen)

Good time of day, long looking for an answer to the question I am interested in, how do I make the game to keep the settings and the game itself. Bought, it means, the game on sale in steam, installed, launched, but that's just to save it does not want. What do you do now?
