The ENT question (Cyberpunk 2077)

The question and discussion of the next strangeness, which can be found when reading Artbook on Cyberpunk 2077, in the description of the history of the world and the reasons why the Old Network was abandoned, among other things mentioned - "Intelligent System" in the abbreviation of IS, and at the same time somehow in the singular. Mike Podnsmith uses the term "Artificial Intelligence" in AI abbreviation, while describing "essences" in the plural and having their differences.
Although the terms "Intelligent System" and "Artificial Intelligence" are similar in meaning, but still have contextual differences, and it is not clear the reason for such freedom on the part of CDProject RED when compiling an artbook - well-established and recognizable concepts and the term ENT just do not change. Interestingly it is unintentional negligence or retreat from the general Laura universe and wondering how it will be in Russian localization.

Perhaps someone has considerations (preferably in essence of the question) or perhaps in an interview or on presentation videos (albeit in English) came across the mention of the name of these "entities" on the other side of the Black Cross, if anything like this was a request to share a link.
