Resolution scale. (Red Dead Redemption 2)

Good time of day ladies and gentlemen. Please explain how the "resolution scale" setting works. As far as I understand this software increase in permission? If I set the setting at 1.750, that's the equivalent of what permit? I play full HD myself. Thank you all for the answers!

Scaling the resolution doesn't work in a big way, but rather downwards! Or rather, it is invented in principle for this purpose, to make life easier for those who sit on high-resolution panels. For example, for those who are in the native 4k plays and want to reduce from 4k by a certain % to increase the phps. For example, 2060 p - 10% - 1944 p.

1.750 is the equivalent of what permit?

If 0.75 It will be -25% of 4k. that is 1620p
If 1.75 then already z75%, that is, if you have 1080 then 1890 p. But so to increase its meaning is not special, still do not get a picture even level 2k. Chutka can add if smoothing is not enough, but there will be no special difference.

Equivalent 1890x3360
1080x1.75=1890
1920x1.75=3360
At 2, 4k is already available

I'll tell you the easier it is, this is an increase in the rendering of the picture game!

Thank you. In rdr 2 as I understand the developers especially did not bother with the rendering in full HD. Even when you set up 1.250 the picture looks much clearer, although there is a difference in pixels (if I correctly understood the principle) is not significant. I have not seen such ugliness in one game. Even forgive God in follaut 76 picture with full HD looks clearer than here.

The picture is clear there looks good without TAA smoothing, but without it the trees and grass turn into the self-seen that. The principle of TAA to take a previously drawn frame, plus the smoothing reduces the resolution of rendering, hence the soap. But that's not all. If you notice, the picture is washed in the dynamics, in static it looks much better. Compare.

Well, judging by your Rtx profile? Put Geforce Experience Alt' call panel Alt'F3 freestyle, from the list choose sharpness, enjoy a super clear picture with a minimum loss of phps about 3-4 frames.

I don't go to one game without this fad, I used to put sweet fx on sharpness. Staff sharps that are built into the engine are just soap soap compared to this stray from Nv.

The sharpness of the taa twist on the whole and everything will be clear!

Right, but at the maximum it is very sharp, and the golden middle I have not found
