I don't remember Sacred well and didn't play for the gladiator, but it's the way it should be. If the jump is well pumped, it should become only in the way, - ordinary demons of Sakkara on the stats are very weak, easily fall in packs (at least fell from the spirals of my pendalph 10 years ago;)
